The International Criminal Court is the cornerstone of a strong international justice system. As an early supporter of the civil society groups that advocated for the ICC, the MacArthur Foundation funded a variety of activities leading up to the completion of the Rome Treaty, which created the Court. It continues to fund efforts to ensure the Courts first cases are successful.
