The Opportunity Finance Network and Starbucks announced an expansion of their Create Jobs for USA Campaign, which has raised more than $11 million for community development financial institutions (CDFIs) nationwide. In addition to the wristbands introduced last fall, Starbucks now will sell specially-branded "indivisible" travel cups and mugs to raise funds. The travel cups are being manufactured in Chicago and the mugs in Ohio, as described in a New York Times article. Opportunity Finance Network received a $25 million PRI from the Foundation in 2007. Since 1986, the Foundation has provided grants and PRIs totaling more than $250 million to build the field of CDFI loan funds, banks and credit unions that are benefiting from the Starbucks campaign.
