Grants

2015 ( 7 months)
$40,000

Net Impact is a non-profit organization with 70,000+ student and professional members from more than 300 volunteer-led chapters at colleges and universities across the U.S.  Dedicated to helping its members drive social and environmental change through careers in business and the social sector, Net Impact recently created an ‘Impact Investing Career Portal’ with support from a prior Foundation grant.  This project enhances the content and usability of the Portal, which provides comprehensive, well-researched and curated information about the impact investing marketplace and its wide range of career options and pathways. The Portal fills an important information gap and helps meet the marketplace’s growing need for top talent.  Grant funds are paying for web development, content editing and design features that enhance user experience.

Net Impact is a non-profit organization with 325 volunteer-led chapters at colleges, universities, and cities in the U.S. and abroad. Through its annual national conference, internship programs, and other activities, the organization helps its 50,000+ student and professional members pursue their interest in socially- and environmentally-responsible business, social enterprise, and corporate social responsibility. This grant supports the development and launch of an Impact Investing and Social Finance Career Portal that is intended to inspire young people interested in finance and investment to consider careers paths and help them find jobs, internships, and projects with potential for social impact.

2011 (1 year)
$150,000

Net Impact is a non-profit with 270 chapters at colleges, universities, and cities in the U.S. and abroad that helps its 20,000+ student and professional members pursue their interest in socially and environmentally responsible business, social enterprise, and corporate social responsibility. It will conduct a rigorous survey of Millennials (those born between the mid 1970s and mid 1990s) regarding their attitudes, knowledge and expectations about careers with a positive social impact. The findings will be used to design and implement a new "Work for Good" campaign for college and graduate students.
