ABERDEEN, UNITED KINGDOM — This grant to the Initiative for Maternal Mortality Programme Assessment (Immpact) Project at the University of Aberdeen will promote the rigorous use of accountability mechanisms to reduce maternal mortality in Nigeria. Activities will include training local partners in appropriate maternal death review methodologies, and a pilot test of a "maternity data bank."
The MacArthur Foundation awarded University Court of the University of Aberdeen $400,000 between 2010 and 2013.
