QUEENS, NEW YORK — The New York Hall of Science, the city's hands-on science and technology center, promotes excitement about and understanding of science and technology and offer creative, participatory ways to learn, serving more than half a million visitors annually. The $3 million Investing in Innovation (i3) grant from the U.S. Department of Education and this matching grant will support the development, implementation, and evaluation of SciGames, a high-quality digital learning environment that will bridge informal and formal science learning environments to improve middle-school students' science achievement and better prepare them for college and careers in science, technology, engineering, and math.
