2015 (10 years)
$175,000

Millennium Park is a public park and major center for culture in Chicago that provides free yearrround programming and exhibitions, including concerts, music festivals, film screenings, gardens, and public sculpture. Millennium Park's facilities include the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, the Lurie Garden, the Harris Theater, Cloud Gate ("the Bean"), the Crown Fountain, and the Chase Promenade. Each year, five million people from Chicago and throughout the world visit Millennium Park to view an exhibit, attend a performance, play in a fountain under the projected photographs of Chicago citizens, or just enjoy green space in the center of the City. This funding is intended to help support ongoing events, staff salaries, volunteer program costs, and various projects related to technology and facility improvements.
