SEATTLE, WASHINGTON — This grant will provide one-time support for the annual conference of Grantmakers in the Arts (GIA), which will be held in Miami, Florida from October 14-17, 2012. GIA is the only national membership association of public and private philanthropies that make grants to artists and arts organization across America. This grant is intended to help GIA strengthen its membership base and raise awareness about cultural assets in Miami as part of a larger strategy to improve the discourse about arts in America.
