    NEW YORK, NEW YORK — Global Kids is a New York City-based non-profit that provides civic learning opportunities for youth and helps young people of diverse backgrounds develop the knowledge, skills, and experience they need to become successful citizens, including a wide range of programs using badge systems to support middle and high school students' learning in school, and in other venues. It will use this grant to develop a comprehensive badge system for young people based on Global Kids' programs and activities of the Hive Learning Networks in Chicago and New York that can serve as a model for building other badge systems elsewhere.
