Equal Justice Works, founded in 1986 and based in Washington D.C., creates opportunities for lawyers to transform their passion for equal justice into a lifelong commitment to public service. The Public Service Loan Forgiveness Coalition (Coalition) is helping public service professionals secure educational debt relief through Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF). The Coalition conducts targeted outreach to educate thousands of qualified public servants about the PSLF program and advocates for the Department of Education to improve administration of the program and remove barriers that prevent many public servants from earning forgiveness. This grant provides support to the Coalition for outreach and advocacy activities.
