    ABUJA, NIGERIA — The purpose of this grant is to sensitize civil society and the general public on the key issues regarding the reform of the electoral process in order to promote transparent and credible elections in Nigeria. This will be achieved through the conduct of opinion poll to elicit reforms which the citizen would like to see in the electoral process; publication and dissemination of the key recommendations of the Presidential Committee on Electoral Reform Committee to enhance the independence of the Electoral Commission; and organizing consultations with a view to integrating the recommendations into the electoral and constitutional review process.
