LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM — Crisis Action is an international campaign-based organization that coordinates collective and strategic advocacy among civil society groups around the globe to influence government policy to prevent and end armed conflict and convince the world's most powerful policymakers to act to protect civilians from gross human rights abuses. The institutional grant will support the organization's strategic planning for its next phase of growth and increase its cash reserve.
The MacArthur Foundation awarded Crisis Action $750,000 between 2010 and 2013.
