    WASHINGTON, D.C. — In addition to serving as the national association of the governor-appointed state advisory groups that administer federal juvenile justice grant funds, the Coalition is the fiscal sponsor of the National Juvenile Justice Network, an association of state-based advocacy groups focused on improving the juvenile justice system. Since 2004, the Coalition and the Network have worked to support the Foundation's Models for Change initiative, promoting and disseminating its ideas, policy and practice innovations, and reform strategies among their members. This grant funds their continued participation in the effort to use Models for Change's momentum to stimulate a broader wave of national juvenile justice reform.

The Coalition has been a vital partner in efforts to diffuse Models for Change innovations and learning, including the successful organizing and hosting of the Models for Change Annual Working Conferences for the last eight years. The Coalition will use this grant to plan, produce, and manage the Foundation's Ninth Annual Models for Change Working Conference.

    WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Coalition for Juvenile Justice (the Coalition) has been a vital partner in efforts to diffuse Models for Change innovations and learning, including successfully organizing and hosting the Models for Change Annual Working Conferences for the last seven years. This grant will support the Coalition to plan, produce, and manage the Eighth Annual Models for Change Working Conference: a two-day event that will provide about 400 participants with opportunities to network, discuss reform strategies, and exchange information on innovative programs and practices.

The Coalition will use this grant to plan, produce, and manage the Seventh Annual Models for Change Working Conference: a two-day event held in early December 2012 that will bring together 300 participants to network, discuss reform strategies, and exchange information on innovative programs and practices.

It will use this grant to support communication activities that will use the momentum generated by Models for Change to stimulate a broader wave of national juvenile justice reform, by providing its members with information, tools, training, networking opportunities, and access to expertise they will need to help secure and sustain Models for Change reform progress and diffuse and expand its practice and policy innovations nationwide.
