Girls' Secondary Education in Developing Countries
WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Catholic University of America's project, Promoting Secondary Education by Training Teachers in Nigeria, will evaluate the effectiveness of a promising program in Nigeria that trains teachers in educational methodology and leadership to improve learning in secondary education. The Lagos State Ministry of Education has committed to use the projects findings to expand the program and other similar initiatives.
The MacArthur Foundation awarded Catholic University of America $92,000 between 2010 and 2013.
