    TUNBRIDGE WELLS, UNITED KINGDOM — Build Africa is a UK-based organization whose vision is for every young person in Africa to fulfill their potential and made a difference to their community. This grant aims to increase the number of rural children in Bukeda and Ngora Districts in Eastern Uganda to successfully make the transition from primary to secondary school. It will help to identify effective responses gaps in transition and share lessons learned with government agencies and other organizations involved in implementing education programs in Uganda.

The MacArthur Foundation awarded Build Africa $160,000 between 2003 and 2014.
