Established in 1994, The Center for Health and Gender Equity (CHANGE) is a U.S.-based non-governmental organization whose mission is to promote sexual and reproductive health and rights of women and girls globally by shaping public discourse, elevating women’s voices, and through advocacy on the implementation of U.S. policies and programs. This award to CHANGE enables the organization to implement its new strategic plan that is focused on promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights, with special attention to advocacy efforts to advance respectful maternity care globally.
