Summit to Focus on Greening Affordable Housing Sector

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) has announced that it will co-host a summit focused on successfully planning, financing, developing, and managing green affordable housing projects, and how this important work addresses the needs of stakeholders, the environment, and community resilience.  The USGBC, with MacArthur’s support, will partner with the Institute for Professional and Executive Development to host the two-day National Affordable Green Homes & Sustainable Communities Summit, which will take place November 13-14, 2012, in San Francisco, California, at the Greenbuild International Conference & Expo, the world’s largest conference and expo dedicated to green building.
