In association with An Evening with PLOrk: the Princeton Laptop Orchestra

The MacArthur Foundation and HASTAC invite you to celebrate the winners' of the inaugural Digital Media and Learning Competition with an evening with PLOrk: the Princeton Laptop Orchestra, a winner of the Digital Media and Learning Competition’s Innovation award. This event is preceded on Thursday by An Evening with PLOrk: the Princeton Laptop Orchestra, at the Newberry Library.

Supported by The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation as part of the Foundation’s Digital Media and Learning Initiative, the Digital Media and Learning Competition is an annual competition that provides $2 million in awards to innovators shaping the field of digital media and learning and is administered by HASTAC. The inaugural Competition awarded funding to 17 winning projects in two categories, “Knowledge Networking” and “Innovation,” in amounts between $30,000 and $238,000.
