Murray Lamond

Murray Lamond has been the Foundation’s speechwriter since 2007.
Previously, Lamond was at Stony Brook University where he had been the Speechwriter and Assistant to the President for over three years. In that capacity, he worked as the President’s principle Speechwriter, but also carried other responsibilities such as participating on several University-wide committees, working with the Communications Department, and organizing VIP visits to campus. He received an MA in English from the University of Cape Town (South Africa) and is finishing his Ph.D. in English from Stony Brook University.
